About Me

I am a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist who received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, and earned a Master of Science in Education degree in Psychological Services, as well as my Ph.D. in School, Community, and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

As a school psychologist, I have extensive experience providing psycho-educational evaluations for students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, advocating for students with special needs, and consulting with families and schools regarding appropriate services for students. Having worked as both an employee of a local public school district as well as in the private sector, I am committed to helping families find the most appropriate services for their children by advocating for their strengths and needs.

As a licensed psychologist in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, I also provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a therapist, I believe that learning about and valuing each person in his or her environment is critical to identifying the most effective strategies for support. I am a child-centered ad family-centered professional who operates from a wellness perspective and believes in a solution-based approach to promoting positive growth and change.

In my practice, I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and behavior and attention issues. I have experiences from a variety of different places - school districts, college counseling centers, private practice, and educational research companies. This combination gives me a broadened perspective on how to best advocate for individuals and affords me the knowledge from a variety of different perspectives. I have received training at The University of Pennsylvania’s College Counseling Center and The Children’s Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia, PA, am trained to serve as an expert witness in child welfare matters, and have served as a consultant with the Educational Testing Services and Consortium for Policy Research in Education.
